MÉRIDA.- Aunque hace más de un año dijo que no habría más expropiaciones para el Tren Maya, poco antes de salir de la presidencia, Andrés Manuel López Obrador decretó otras expropiaciones de terrenos e particulares, para ser usados en las obras del transporte turístico, que ha tenido un costo de más de 500 mil millones de pesos y contando, pues las obras aún no terminan.
La obra debió que estar listas el pasado 12 de septiembre para entregarla -por decreto presidencial de López Obrador- a los mandos militares de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena) que se hará cargo de la administración del tren turístico y de carga eventualmente. Sin embargo, como la obra no se terminó en su totalidad, antes de dejar el Poder Ejecutivo, López Obrador extendió el plazo seis meses para hacer la entrega.
Ahora las incautaciones de terrenos que se realizaron por motivos de utilidad pública serán destinadas al Fonatur Tren Maya para la construcción de infraestructura ferroviaria y obras complementarias del proyecto.
Esto son los terrenos que se expropian a sus dueños:
- Maxcanú, Yucatán
El primer decreto expropia 53.37 hectáreas del ejido “Maxcanú”, ubicado en el municipio del mismo nombre en Yucatán. El uso de estas tierras fue declarado de utilidad pública y serán utilizadas para la construcción de infraestructura del Tren Maya. El Instituto de Administración y Avalúos de Bienes Nacionales (Indaabin) fijó una indemnización de 21 millones 69 mil 658 pesos, basada en el valor comercial de la superficie afectada, según dictamen emitido el 18 de enero de 2024. - Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo
El segundo decreto afecta 102.32 hectáreas del ejido “Puerto Morelos”, en el municipio homónimo en Quintana Roo. Estas tierras se destinarán a la construcción de obras ferroviarias del Tren Maya. El Indaabin determinó una compensación de 511 millones 601 mil pesos, en un avalúo realizado el 22 de diciembre de 2023. - Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo
El tercer decreto afecta 0.59 hectáreas del ejido “X-Hazil y Anexos”, en el municipio de Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo. Estas tierras también se utilizarán para obras relacionadas con el proyecto del Tren Maya. La indemnización establecida fue de 395 mil 96 pesos, según el avalúo emitido el 8 de febrero de 2024
