CDMX.- Esta mañana se realizó en el Zócalo de la Ciudad de México el tradicional desfile que conmemora 113 años de la Revolución Mexicana, en el que participaron siete mil 380 elementos de la Guardia Nacional, dos mil 108 miembros del Ejército y mil 57 de la Marina.
La Revolución Mexicana fue un conflicto armado que inició en 1910, derivado del descontento popular contra la dictadura de Porfirio Díaz, quien duró en el poder de 1877 a 1880 y de 1884 a 1911, fecha en que la guerra civil transformó radicalmente las estructuras políticas y sociales del país.
El Gobierno de México informó que el número de militares que participan en el acto cívico es menor al de años anteriores, debido a que más de 10 mil efectivos delE jército y la Guardia Nacional se encuentran colaborando en las labores de ayuda en Guerrero, donde el huracán Otis dejó devastado el puerto turístico de Acapulco y otros municipios, luego de que el huracán categoría 5 entró a la costa mexicana el 25 de octubre , sin que hubiera un aviso de alerta previa del gobierno estatal o federal para que los habitantes, los navegantes y turistas se refugiaran.
En el marco de la conmemoración del evento histórico, el presidente AMLO hizo entrega de insignias a integrantes del Ejército, Fuerza Aérea y Armada, a quienes ascendió de grado inmediato.
Al dar inicio al desfile conmemorativo, el presidente López Obrador dijo que una fecha histórica como el inicio de la Revolución Mexicana no puede pasar inadvertida. Un día como hoy, un hombre honesto, Francisco I. Madero, con ideales libertarios, llamó al pueblo de México a tomar las armas para derrocar a la dictadura porfirista.
En el manifiesto, fechado el 20 de noviembre de 1910, hay un párrafo que aclara el porqué de ese movimiento de transformación, se lee: “México está gobernado por una tiranía que ha pretendido justificarse a sí misma con los beneficios de la paz y de la prosperidad material; pero esa paz no descansa en el derecho, sino en la fuerza, y esa prosperidad sólo beneficia a una minoría, no al pueblo ni a la Nación”.
«En efecto, el porfiriato es sinónimo de esclavitud, de opresión, de oligarquía. El gobierno nunca estuvo del lado de las comunidades sino de los hacendados, no protegía a los obreros sino a los patrones y obviamente nunca hubo ni justicia ni democracia», agregó AMLO quien presidió el desfile militar, el último en el que estará como Presidente de México, porque el primero de octubre de 2024 dejará el cargo para irse a su casa o a su rancho.
En su discurso, el presidente hizo historia y recordó que » la revolución maderista fue verdaderamente eficaz. En sólo seis meses, a partir del 20 de noviembre de 1910, cuando se llamó al pueblo a tomar las armas, en sólo seis meses, se consumó el derrocamiento de Porfirio Díaz. Hubo pérdidas de vidas humanas, “catorce mil hombres muertos en el campo de la revolución”, según estimó Luis Cabrera en septiembre de 1912.
«Pero este saldo, por siempre lamentable, resultaría menor al que se registró en las etapas posteriores de mucha mayor violencia. Además, el dinero utilizado en la revolución maderista fue relativamente poco. Desde los primeros días del triunfo, la revolución fue auditada en forma rigurosa como ninguna otra revolución en el mundo. Costó 642 mil 195 pesos, de los cuales, 358 mil se destinaron a la compra de armas, municiones y equipos. El monto total fue reconocido por el gobierno interino que, respetando el acuerdo del 31 de mayo de 1911, se lo entregó a Gustavo A. Madero, quien procedió a devolverlo a los aportantes. La libertad se había conquistado sin muchos problemas. Los daños a las actividades productivas fueron mínimos; se respetaron la vida y los intereses de los extranjeros, no hubo fuga de capitales ni se debilitó la Hacienda pública. Un mes después de la entrada de Francisco I. Madero a la Ciudad de México, se informa que “el corte de caja practicado en la Tesorería General arroja una existencia de $63 070 000.00 [sesenta y tres millones setenta mil pesos] cubiertos ya los gastos extraordinarios”.
