CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— Cecilia Patricia Flores Armenta, mejor conocida como Ceci Flores y líder del colectivo Madres Buscadoras de Sonora, denunció que teme por su vida, debido a que es víctima de amenazas cada vez más fuertes, las cuales la torturan psicológicamente.
En su cuenta de Twitter, la “rastreadora” publicó un video en el que reveló que es molestada vía WhatsApp, por números desconocidos, y la amenazan con quitarle la vida. Esto, con la finalidad de que detenga su activismo y búsqueda de personas desaparecidas.
“No voy a decir que es un cártel, ni que es una autoridad, la verdad no sé de parte de dónde vienen las amenazas, cada vez han sido más fuertes, cada vez tengo más miedo, pero también tengo miedo de salir corriendo y dejar de buscar a mis hijos porque la única oportunidad que tienen de volver a casa es que yo los siga buscando”, afirmó.
Ceci Flores exigió al Estado que investigue las amenazas de las que ha sido objeto desde hace aproximadamente un mes y que se han tornado más violentas en las últimas dos semanas; pues en los mensajes, le envían fotografías de personas torturadas y descuartizadas, y le advierten que así puede acabar ella.
“Tengo mucho miedo de que me quiten la vida, de que me hagan daño y que mis hijos dejen de ser buscados porque no tengo el apoyo por parte de las autoridades en la búsqueda e investigación de mi hijo, ni de Marcos, ni de Alex”, señaló.
En el video, Ceci Flores cuestionó el por qué expresan tanto odio contra ella, que como madre lo único que ha hecho es amar a sus hijos, soñar con la paz de traerlos a casa y luchar por su derecho a ser buscados como el resto de los desaparecidos.
“Como madre tengo que hacer valer ese derecho porque los amo, porque los necesito en casa y porque necesito recuperar ese vacío que dejaron con su ausencia. Entonces, ¿qué daño puede hacer una madre que nunca les ha hecho daño y a lo único que se dedica es a buscar a sus hijos?“.

“Por favor, les suplico que nos ayuden a buscar y a encontrar a nuestros desaparecidos, que no nos amenacen, que no nos desaparezcan y que no maten a las madres buscadoras”, imploró.
Ceci Flores, líder y fundadora del colectivo Madres Buscadoras de Sonora, busca a su hijo Alejandro, desaparecido en Los Mochis, Sinaloa, en 2015, y a Marco Antonio, desaparecido en 2019 en Bahía de Kino, en Hermosillo, Sonora.
