CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— El Aeropuerto Internacional de Puebla “Hermanos Serdán” reanudó la mañana de este martes sus operaciones normales, luego de suspenderlas por alrededor de 14 horas ante la caída de cenizas del volcán Popocatépetl.
A través de redes sociales, el gobernador de Puebla, Sergio Salomón Céspedes, señaló que la terminal aérea ubicada en el municipio de Huejotzingo opera con normalidad, luego que este lunes por la tarde se suspendió actividades. En tanto, se realizan labores de limpieza de ceniza en las plataformas.
“En este momento, el Aeropuerto Internacional Hermanos Serdán reanuda operaciones normales. Se realizan labores de limpieza de ceniza en plataformas. Seguiremos informando“, indicó el mandatario en su cuenta de Twitter.

Las operaciones del aeropuerto de Puebla fueron suspendidas a las 17:00 horas de este lunes, de acuerdo al gobernador. La suspensión se mantendría hasta nuevo aviso y tomando en cuenta las condiciones ambientales debido a la actividad del volcán, la cual hasta esta mañana se mantiene en amarillo fase 3.
⇒ El sábado pasado, cuando se registró una intensa lluvia de ceniza en una docena de municipios poblanos, entre ellos la zona metropolitana de la ciudad de Puebla, personal directivo del aeropuerto decidió cerrar la terminal aérea.
La madrugada de este martes, el volcán Popocatépetl presentó, a las 00:19 horas y 04:05 horas, dos emisiones de vapor de agua, gases y ceniza, con lanzamiento de material incandescente.
Continúa el episodio de tremor de amplitud variable del #Popocatépetl registrado durante las últimas horas. Se ha observado una emisión con contenido de ceniza.

De acuerdo con Protección Civil estatal, por las condiciones de los vientos, la ceniza del volcán tendrá una dispersión hacia el Este – Noreste y podría dirigirse a:
-Angelópolis
-Valle de Atlixco y Matamoros
-Sierra Negra
-Serdán
– Valles Centrales
Por recomendación del Comité Científico Asesor, integrado por especialistas en el tema, como la Coordinación Nacional de Protección Civil determinó aumentar el Semáforo Amarillo Fase 2 a Semáforo Amarillo fase 3, que implica que autoridades locales deberán prepararse para diversos escenarios.
