CDMX.-Un grupo de senadores de Morena, encabezados por Nancy Guadalupe Sánchez, presentó una iniciativa que modifica seis leyes, para combatir el problema de los plaguicidas, pero sin afectar la producción de alimentos sanos y suficientes. La iniciativa propone modificaciones a estas leyes: Ley de Desarrollo Rural Sustentable, Ley General de Salud, Ley General del Equilibrio Ecológico, Ley General para la Prevención y Gestión Integral de Residuos, Ley Federal de Sanidad Vegetal y Ley General de Desarrollo Forestal Sustentable.
Con esta iniciativa se trata, no solo de prevenir enfermedades, sino también de ofrecer alimentos saludables y suficientes, en un ambiente ecológico sustentable.
Se requiere del trabajo coordinado entre autoridades de la Administración Pública, del Poder Legislativo, de la comunidad científica y del sector agroalimentario del país, para lograr este ambicioso proyecto
