Se fabricarán semiconductores y equipo de electromobilidad
CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.-Luego de la visita del secretario de Estado de Estados Ubidos, Antony Blinken , a Palacio Nacional para reunirse con el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, se dio a conocer la invitación de inversiones a México para impulsar la fabricación de semiconductores y electromovilidad; que prevé una inyección de alrededor de 51 millones de dólares por parte de Washington.
Así lo informó el secretario Marcelo Ebrard: “En esencia son cosas positivas para México. Invitación a México al nuevo paquete de inversión que Estados Unidos acaba de anunciar, en semiconductores y electromovilidad”.
Ebrard destacó que algunos avances en el Diálogo Económico de Alto Nivel con Estados Unidos, en los que resumió que se invitó a México a participar en inversiones multimillonarias.
Además, Blinken expresó «su continuo agradecimiento» por la colaboración con México en diversos asuntos de interés mutuo, desctacó el canciller quien resaltó la “muy buena relación. A quienes esperaban fricciones, desencuentros, problemas, pues se van a quedar con las ganas porque eso no va a ocurrir. vinieron a invitarnos a impulsar los semiconductores, ellos ya autorizaron un programa de más, menos, 51 millones de dólares, nos invitan a participar, pero esos son miles de empleos, es una puerta enorme que se abre para México en desarrollo, de crecimiento… En resumen invitarnos a que México pueda participar en inversiones multimillonarias”, dijo Ebrard.
Explicó que para México y Estados Unidos el tema energético “no ocupó más del 5% de la conversación” en la reunión del secretario de Estado de Estados Unidos, Antony Blinken, pues la plática se dio en torno a economía.
“Sobre energía, ahorita lo que platicamos fue que no es el tema de esta mesa: hay un procedimiento establecido (en las consultas que reclamaron Estados Unidos y Canadá) y cuando hay diferencia se tiene que resolver, pero ocupó no más del cinco por ciento de la conversación que hubo hoy”.
En ese sentido, Ebrard agregó que lo principal fue la economía con la invitación a México para pasar a formar parte del esfuerzo de producir semiconductores, electromovilidad.
