METEPEC, Edomex- La presencia de las mujeres en la construcción ha aumentado debido al reconocimiento de su labor, que se caracteriza por la responsabilidad, capacidad de organización, cuidado en los detalles y la calidad, asegura la maestra en Administración de la Obra, Graciela Yunuhen Donantes Pacheco.
Al dictar la conferencia virtual: “El género en el ámbito de la construcción”, organizada por la Secretaría de Desarrollo Urbano y Obra, a través de la Coordinación Jurídica y de Igualdad de Género, dijo que la construcción es parte fundamental de la economía mundial, por lo que es importante fortalecer una perspectiva de género en los sectores público y privado.
En el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer, agregó que se deben eliminar prejuicios, promover el desarrollo del país y generar más presencia del sector femenino en los trabajos de la construcción, tanto en espacios administrativos como operativos.
Con un aforo virtual de más de 300 personas, vía Zoom, la especialista mencionó los desafíos que han tenido que enfrentar las mujeres para abrirse espacios en el ámbito de la construcción y señaló que es momento de que las niñas que sueñan e construir un edificio, tengan más oportunidades para cumplir sus objetivos.
