CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— La temporada de premios 2022 dio inicio con la entrega de los Globos de Oro; ahora será el turno del Premios del Sindicato de Actores de Hollywood/Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG, por sus siglas en inglés), los cuales anunciaron su lista de nominados para la edición 28°, cuya gala será el próximo 27 de febrero.
⇒ Lady Gaga, Will Smith y Andrew Garfield recibieron nominaciones individuales para los SAG Awards 2022, mientras que Belfast y CODA obtuvieron candidaturas al máximo honor del gremio, el de mejor elenco.
Aunque hubo varias sorpresas, como las menciones a El juego del calamar, también hubo unas cuantas desilusiones, como la ausencia de Kristen Stewart entre los nominados. Mientras que West Side Story, de Steven Spielberg, y El poder del perro, de Jane Campion,  quedaron fuera de la categoría principal.
Las nominaciones fueron anunciadas este miércoles por las actrices Vanessa Hudgens y Rosario Dawson en un Instagram Live. Por el momento no se sabe con certeza si la ceremonia de los SAG Awards 2022 —programada para el 27 de febrero a las 19:00 horas— se pospondrá por el aumento de contagios de Covid-19, derivado a la variante Ómicron.
