CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— El Gobierno de la Ciudad de México puso en marcha un nuevo mecanismo para sancionar a conductores que invaden los carriles confinados del Metrobús, con multas que van desde los 3 mil a los 5 mil pesos.
Para la operación de este nuevo esquema de sanciones, las y los conductores de Metrobús podrán emitir un aviso de invasión al Centro de Control del Sistema, de esa forma, monitoristas podrán acceder a las cámaras del autobús y corroborar la información.
Los monitoristas podrán registrar toda la evidencia necesaria para que la Subsecretaría de Control de Tránsito pueda generar la sanción correspondiente a la matrícula del vehículo invasor (de acuerdo con el artículo 11 fracción X del RTCDMX que va de 3 mil 584.8 a 5 mil 377.2 pesos).

Otro de los mecanismos con los que la Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana podrá efectuar estas sanciones será a través de las redes sociales de Metrobús; para ello, las personas que reporten esta situación podrán enviar fotografías o videos señalando el lugar, el día y la hora estimada, así como elementos que permitan identificar la placa del vehículo.
En este caso quedan exentos los vehículos de emergencia que atiendan una contingencia y que circulen con luces y señales audibles encendidas.
