CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— La jefa de Gobierno, Claudia Sheinbaum, presentó los avances del programa “Tequio-Barrio”, orientado a fomentar la participación de los vecinos para la construcción de espacios públicos; para ello se destinó en 2020, 100 millones de pesos en mejoramiento urbano de la capital.
Con “Tequio-Barrio” se prevé el mejoramiento de espacios públicos, así como la construcción de senderos iluminados, la remodelación de deportivos, la instalación de murales o la intervención de Pilares (Puntos de Innovación, Libertad, Arte, Educación y Saberes).
“Estas acciones son importantes y representan grandes cambios en el espacio público de estas zonas, que fueron olvidadas por el Gobierno de la Ciudad. Este es un programa de intervención que busca que la gente se junte en las colonias a partir de una actividad comunitaria para consolidar lazos“, expresó la mandataria capitalina.

Por su parte, el director ejecutivo de Mejoramiento Barrial y Comunitario, Manuel Luis Labra, aseguró que el programa de “Tequio-barrio” impactará a una población de 1 millón 400 mil personas en 340 barrios, colonias y pueblos de las 16 alcaldías. Para este 2021 serán 162 los espacios concluidos.
En videoconferencia de prensa, el funcionario resaltó que para la realización de un proyecto de este tipo se realizan asambleas vecinales para presentar la obra; el comité técnico define las mejores propuestas y el proceso para elegir a las empresas, lo cual debe ser aceptado por la comunidad del lugar.
⇒ Entre 2019 y 2021 suman 607 proyectos realizados, con una inversión total de 362 millones de pesos. Entre las áreas intervenidas están las unidades deportivas en Santa Cecilia, Lomas de Zaragoza en Iztapalapa, la plaza de Santana en Tepito y los murales en la colonia Nopalera de Tláhuac.

Manuel Labra aseguró que en 2020 se contó con un presupuesto de 100 millones de pesos para realizar 162 proyectos; sin embargo, debido a las dificultades que trajo la pandemia de Covid-19, hasta el momento sólo se han concluido 70 por ciento de estos y ejercido 86 millones de pesos.
Para el año pasado, afirmó, se planeó la realización de proyectos de infraestructura y mejoramiento conforme tres vertientes: senderos seguros, senderos culturales y senderos deportivos. En las alcaldías Iztapalapa, Gustavo A. Madero y Álvaro Obregón se conjuntó el mayor número de estos.
Con los senderos seguros se realizan murales, se instalan luminarias, se rehabilitan banquetas, se baliza y se coloca mobiliario urbano; mientras que los culturales se planean espacios que fortalezcan a los pueblos y barrios; y los deportivos o recreativos buscan la intervención en centros deportivos, jardines o parques para mejorar y fomentar las actividades recreativas.
