CIUDAD DE MÉXICO. – La mañana de este lunes, restauranteros de la Ciudad de México protestan frente a Palacio Nacional, realizaron un “cacerolazo“.
Esto debido al cierre de sus establecimientos, debido a la pandemia que, los ha sumergido en una crisis económica que los pone al bode del cierre.
Cocineros, meseros y dueños de restaurantes aseguran que sus establecimientos hoy estarán abiertos pese a que las medidas sanitarias que anunció el Gobierno de la CDMX no se los permite.
Esto con el objetivo de intentar salvar sus negocios de un cierre definitivo.
Los restauranteros y empleados de este sector que se dieron cita en el Centro de la CDMX para el llamado cacerolazo perteneces a diversos puntos de la CDMX.
Asimismo, declararon que están dispuestos a convertirse en ambulantes, porque afirman que a los comerciantes informales sí se les permite trabajar.
Ante el Palacio Nacional, los empresarios y trabajadores dependientes del sector restaurantero exigen a las autoridades federales y de la CDMX que sus negocios sean considerados como una actividad esencial y puedan ofrecer servicio de comedor.
Contexto
A finales del 2020, autoridades federales y locales declararon el regreso de la capital del país y del Estado de México a semáforo rojo.
Como resultado, solamente se les permitió operar a las actividades económicas consideradas como esenciales, sin embargo, el sector de alimentos preparados seguiría funcionando únicamente con servicio de entrega.
Después de tres semanas, restauranteros de la región pidieron que a su sector se le pudiera considerar como actividad esencial.
A través de una carta publicada, los más de 500 restaurantes capitalinos y mexiquenses expusieron que por el primer confinamiento, entre marzo y mayo del 2020, en la zona del Valle de México cerraron 13,500 establecimientos.
A pesar de las peticiones, los gobiernos locales dijeron que las entidades se mantendrán en color rojo y con ello, las restricciones sanitarias seguirían igual.
Como respuesta, un grupo de restauranteros del Valle de México advirtió que reabrirán sus puertas a los comensales este 11 de enero, pero con controles sanitarios.
Por su parte, la ,Canirac, así como los Dicares y la AMR lamentaron “la falta de sensibilidad” de las autoridades locales, “ante el llamado para que el sector sea considerado actividad esencial”.
