BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR.- Desde 1874 cada 8 de octubre Baja California Sur celebra su nombramiento como estado libre y soberano, siendo este año su 46 aniversario.
A la fecha, Baja California Sur es uno de los estados más jóvenes de la República mexicana y también, uno de los destinos favoritos para visitar en el mundo por el color de las aguas en sus playas y sus increíbles aventuras que conectan con la naturaleza.

Este estado cuenta con 73 mil 475 kilómetros cuadrados de extensión territorial distribuidos en solo cinco municipios, pero tiene una población de apenas 929 mil 629 habitantes.
Entre sus destinos más conocidos y visitados se encuentran Los Cabos y La Paz que también se han posicionado como grandes destinos para los turistas por sus playas que ofrecen aventuras para surfear y pescar o para el avistamiento de ballenas y la anidación de tortugas.
