CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.- Debido a la pandemia de coronavirus, una de las industrias más afectadas ha sido la del cine, pues debido al cierre de los complejos cinematográficos, medida para evitar el contagio por coronavirus, muchos estrenos tuvieron que posponerse.
Sin embargo, luego de dos meses de cierre, el plan de desconfinamiento de la Ciudad de México contempla que la reapertura de cines sería el próximo 15 de junio de 2020 y deberán funcionar en un 50% de su capacidad, siguiendo toda una serie de protocolos de seguridad.
Y aunque todavía no podemos cantar victoria, pues seguimos a la expectativa de la evolución de la pandemia en nuestro país, Cinemex lanzó un esperanzador video que nos anticipa que pronto regresaremos a las salas de cine a revivir la magia del cine, como su eslogan lo refiere.
En el clip de 54 segundos, la cadena de cines muestra una serie de escenas, en las que se observa a personajes de películas de diferentes géneros: fantasía, animación, romance, acción, aventura y terror, quienes permanecen detenidos esperando el regreso de los espectadores, para continuar sus escenas.
“Sin ti la magia del cine no es igual, por eso las películas se pusieron en pausa y ahora nos toca esperar porque tú eres nuestra razón de ser. Así que aquí estaremos esperándote. Listos para volverte a ver. Pronto. Muy pronto”, se escucha en el video.

En las últimas semanas y como un esfuerzo para hacer más llevadera la cuarentena, la exhibidora cinematográfica hizo mancuerna con la Asociación Mexicana de Cineastas Independientes (AMCI) para ofrecer lecciones de cine gratis a través de YouTube.
