BAJA CALIFORNIA.- La cervecera Heineken, en coordinación con el alcalde de Tijuana, Arturo González Cruz, entregaron refrigeradores industriales y 24 mil botes de agua al Hospital General de la entidad como apoyo al personal médico que atiende la emergencia por el Covid-19.
Al respecto, el alcalde agradeció por las acciones de solidarización que las empresas han tenido con el sector salud de Tijuana para colaborar ante la pandemia:
“Agradezco el apoyo que los empresarios brindan a Tijuana con este tipo de aportaciones, son ciudadanos comprometidos con esta frontera Norte. El apoyo a los héroes que trabajan todos los días por erradicar la enfermedad (…) y son a ellos, a los que debemos cuidar más”, mencionó González Cruz.
El mandatario local reiteró el compromiso con el sector médico e insistió a la ciudadanía a que siga aplicando las medidas preventivas para evitar la propagación del Covid-19, asegurando que la mejor aportación para los médicos es que las recomendaciones emitidas por las autoridades de salud se respeten.
En tanto, el Secretario de Salud en Baja California, Alonso Pérez Rico, agradeció a los representantes de la empresa Heineken por sumarse a la causa de brindar insumos a las instituciones médicas.
En la entrega formal del donativo, estuvieron presentes, el Director General de Heineken en México, Osvaldo Jaramillo; la representante de Relaciones Interinstitucionales de Heineken en Baja California, Sara Celiceo y el Director del Hospital General de Tijuana, Alberto Reyes Escamilla.
