CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.- La senadora de Morena, Bertha Alicia Caraveo Camarena, propuso hacer un llamado al Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM) para que aplique todos protocolos sanitarios implementados y recomendados por las distintas instituciones de salud, a efecto de prevenir, detectar y, en su caso, canalizar todos aquellos casos de contagio que se puedan presentar por el Covid-19.
A través de un punto de acuerdo, la legisladora plantea que dichos protocolos deben aplicarse con pleno respeto a los derechos humanos, a todas de las personas que se encuentran en las estaciones migratorias, así como a quienes acudan a sus instalaciones a realizar algún tipo de trámite migratorio.
En la propuesta, se solicita al INM implique las estrategias incluidas en el “Lineamiento General para la Mitigación y Prevención de COVID-19 en espacios públicos cerrados”.
Ante la declaratoria de la Fase 3 por la pandemia de Covid-19, es fundamental que se implementen y apliquen todas las medidas de mitigación, ya que en ésta se prevé que se acumule un gran número de casos de contagio, de acuerdo a las autoridades sanitarias.
El objetivo, señaló la senadora, es disminuir los posibles contagios de Coronavirus entre las personas que tengan un contexto de migración, así como de las trabajadoras y trabajadores del Instituto y las estaciones migratorias.
Tras comentar que las personas que se encuentran en dichas instalaciones, representan un riesgo de contagiar o contagiarse de este virus, insistió en que es fundamental reforzar las medidas y protocolos que ha implementado el sector salud y las respectivas estaciones, a efecto de que los trabajos de prevención y, en su caso, detección, sean cada vez más eficaces.
El INM, en total apego y respeto a los derechos humanos, debe impulsar medidas sanitarias de acuerdo a los protocolos establecidos por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y la Secretaría de Salud, puntualizó la legisladora.
El punto de acuerdo se envió al Grupo Plural de Trabajo para el Seguimiento a la Pandemia del Virus Covid-19.
