CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.— La cadena de cines Cinépolis anunció que, a partir del 25 de marzo, cerrará por tiempo indefinido todas sus sucursales en México, esto debido a la pandemia de coronavirus Covid-19.
“La emergencia nos ha obligado a activar nuevas medidas de contención. En consecuencia, a partir del día de mañana (25 de marzo), suspenderemos nuestras operaciones en todo el país hasta nuevo aviso. Estas medidas no contemplan ningún ajuste de personal”, indicó la empresa en un comunicado.
Cinépolis afirmó haberse atenido a los protocolos y disposiciones gubernamentales de las últimas semanas, al punto de adoptar “medidas sanitarias, de concientización y de ‘distanciamiento social’“. No obstante, ante el agravamiento de la crisis se emplearán nuevas medidas de contención, ya que “la salud y seguridad de nuestros colaboradores y clientes es lo más importante para nosotros“.
