CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 5 de diciembre (AlMomentoMx).—Una explosión registrada al interior de la plaza comercial Parque Delta, en la alcaldía Benito Juárez, dejó al menos nueve personas lesionadas.

De acuerdo con la Secretaría de Gestión Integral de Riesgos y Protección Civil (SGIRPC), la explosión fue ocasionada por un cortocircuito en una subestación eléctrica en las instalaciones de la plaza, ubicada en el cruce de Viaducto y Cuauhtémoc.
A través de su cuenta de Twitter, la dependencia detalló que tres de los heridos fueron trasladados a un hospital privado, en donde recibieron atención médica correspondiente. Los otros 6 fueron atendidos en el lugar.

De acuerdo con Milenio, el siniestro se suscitó mientras los lesionados, todos hombres, estaban trabajando en la remodelación de una área de comida. Hasta el momento no se ha reportado a cuanto ascienden los daños.
La explosión movilizó a los servicios de emergencia. “Un hombre refiere que, al estar trabajando, nada más sienten que explota el piso y así mismo el techo empieza a caer con lumbre”, indicó uno de los paramédicos a Noticieros Televisa.

Por su parte, el bombero Francisco Méndez indicó que los trabajadores dejaron abierta una lata de pegamento de 20 litros, la cual empezó a evaporar “y al momento que trabajaron con la corriente eléctrica les dio el chispazo y eso provocó la explosión”.
