CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 9 de octubre (AlMomentoMx).— La complejidad de la legislación ambiental para los hoteles de la Ciudad de México, la gestión hotelera sustentable, y las tendencias de turismo y políticas pet-friendly fueron los temas elegidos para abordarse en el Primer Foro de Turismo Sustentable de la alcaldía Cuauhtémoc.
En representación del alcalde Néstor Núñez, Erik Hans Solórzano, director de Sustentabilidad de la alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, afirmó que la demarcación alberga 350 hoteles, que representan el 56 por ciento de las habitaciones de hospedaje en la ciudad.
Resaltó que la actividad económica no debe estar separada de la conciencia ambiental, por lo que es un desafío impulsar las tendencias que cada vez son más rentables.
En su oportunidad, Sandra Gil Lamadrid, directora de Desarrollo y Fomento Económico, resaltó el compromiso por ir de la mano con los diferentes hoteles para impulsar el turismo, innvovar y alcanzar nuevas metas.
Por parte de la Asociación de Hoteles de la Ciudad de México, Alberto Albarrán, agradeció el apoyo de la alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, así como el tiempo y esfuerzo para sacar adelante el Primer Foro de Turismo Sustentable.
El evento se conformó por nueve conferencias magistrales y cinco mesas de trabajo interinstitucionales y transdisciplinarias, a partir de los temas citados en donde los conversadores analizarán las problemáticas actuales, la prospectiva, así como las alternativas para desarrollar mejores propuestas en aras de construir un programa de sustentabilidad hotelera en la alcaldía Cuauhtémoc.
