CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 8 de enero (AlmomentoMX).- La diputada Olga Catalán Padilla (PRD) presentó un punto de acuerdo para exhortar a los gobiernos de diversas entidades federativas a publicar la información general y estadística sobre los casos de violencia, incluida la feminicida, a fin de integrar y transparentar sus bancos estatales de datos.
El objetivo, explicó la legisladora, quien es secretaria de la Comisión Especial de Alerta de Género, es actualizar y hacer públicas las cifras sobre feminicidios en todo el país.
“En el país el número de homicidios va en aumento, tan solo las víctimas por homicidios dolosos con arma de fuego tuvieron un repunte de 40 por ciento en todo el territorio nacional entre enero y noviembre de 2017, según datos del Secretariado Ejecutivo del Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública”, sostuvo.
Precisó que actualmente, doce entidades federativas tienen declarada la alerta de violencia de género, debido a los altos índices de violencia en diferentes modos contra las mujeres, aunado a que en dichas entidades el número de feminicidios en los últimos años aumentó considerablemente.
Catalán Padilla comentó que algunas organizaciones sociales, como el Observatorio Ciudadano Nacional del Feminicidio y el Observatorio Ciudadano contar la Violencia de Género, Desaparición y Feminicidios en el Estado de México, han advertido que no existe claridad en las cifras, aunado a que los datos oficiales recolectados por los distintos órganos estatales no coinciden con los manejados por las organizaciones de mujeres y de defensa de derechos humanos.
“La violencia feminicida, aún con la importancia que representa para la sociedad y las autoridades, no ha sido incluida en las encuestas oficiales”, subrayó.
El punto de acuerdo, turnado a la Primera Comisión de la Permanente, advierte que el Banco Nacional de Datos e Información sobre Casos de Violencia contra las Mujeres sólo observa cifras sobre algunos tipos de violencia como la física, psicológica, económica, patrimonial y sexual, pero no considera la violencia feminicida.
“Es necesario contar con información confiable y oportuna, dirigida a las dependencias y organizaciones que lo requieran para el combate y erradicación de esta práctica. Es por lo anterior que queremos que se exhorte a Nuevo León, Estado de México, Chiapas y Jalisco a publicar la información general y estadística sobre los casos de violencia, incluida la violencia feminicida”.
